this blog is really sort of a leap of faith for me. i've long been interested in starting one but haven't really had the guts to do it. well ladies and gents, it turns out celebrating her 28th birthday in new york is all the inspiration this canadian gal needed!

This is the front door to my apartment. Note the missing doorknob. This means I cannot leave my building-which is fine because I smell pretty ripe because I couldn’t shower this AM due to a complete lack of running water. What an ace beginning to the day.
