this blog is really sort of a leap of faith for me. i've long been interested in starting one but haven't really had the guts to do it. well ladies and gents, it turns out celebrating her 28th birthday in new york is all the inspiration this canadian gal needed!

I am so peeved i missed this.   my sister (who i haven’t seen since November) called me at 3pm and asked me if I could you know… just BUY HER A WHOLE NEW WARDROBE and bring it to Canada with me.  anyone else tried to pull this foolishness, i’d be irked.  but she’s my sis and she’s an engineer….ya.  sepiabeauty: grilled haloumi cheese on a bed of baby arugula and garnished with spicy olives.
